Beer: Pretty Things Jack D’Or Saison

  by    0   0

96 Points BA World Class 6.4% ABV. Jack D’What? “Jack of Gold,” amythical being of the barley based on John Barleycorn. He adorns the label in a welcoming guardian sort of way–but he’s actually summoning. And as you might have guessed, this is a Saison–Belgian/French Farmhouse Ale–but with a twist. Brewed with Pils and Vienna malts, 10-percent malted oats, and Nugget, Palisade and Cascade hops (dry hopped, too). It clocks in at 45 IBU, 6.4-percent alcohol by volume and is inspired by traditional Saisons, hoppy Belgian ales, and American IPAs. $6.35¬†22 oz. Bottle¬†
